Family Fun Day 20th May
Bring friends and family to the Family Fun Day and enjoy activities, entertainment and refreshments for all ages while waiting to cheer runners across the marathon finish line.
Family Fun Day 20th May 11.00-16.00
Held in association with the Brathay Windermere Marathon the Family Fun Day provides an opportunity for visitors and the local community to enjoy the picturesque Brathay Hall Estate.
Support the runners
Cheer the runners as they cross the finish line on the front lawn of Brathay Hall on the shores of Lake Windermere. Look out for the 15 runners in distinctive running vests completing their 10th marathon in 10 days, and setting world records as they do so.
Fun for the kids
A wide range of activities and games suitable for children of all ages including canoeing, high ropes course and mini-races.
Relax on the lawn
BBQ, tea & refreshments, beer tent and a jazz band are among the entertainment on offer. Or just bring a picnic and relax.

Getting here
Please follow signs and directions for car parking. Entrance to the Family Fun Day is free but there is a £5 charge for parking, or Family Fun Day visitors and spectators may prefer to park in Ambleside and enjoy the 15-20 min walk to the Brathay Estate.
All proceeds from the Family Fun Day go towards improving the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged young people.
