Brathay Hall Open Day 16th May
Bring your friends and family to the Brathay Open Day and enjoy a wide range of fun activities whilst waiting to cheer on the runners across the finish line.
Brathay Hall Estate Open Day 16th May 11.00-17.00
In association with the marathon there will also be a FREE open day. Spectators and supporters of the marathon, visitors to the area and the local community are invited to Brathay Hall Estate.
Support the runners
Cheer the runners as they cross the finish line on the front lawn of Brathay Hall on the shores of Lake Windermere. Watch out for the 13 runners in distinctive running vests completing their 10th marathon in 10 days, last year setting world records as they did so.
Fun for the kids
A wide range of activities and games suitable for children of all ages including canoeing, high ropes course and mini-races.
Relax on the lawn
BBQ, tea & refreshments, beer tent and a jazz band are among the entertainment on offer. Or just bring a picnic and relax.

Please follow directions for parking. Entrance to the Open Day is free but there is a £5 charge for parking. Or leave the car and enjoy the 20 minute stroll from Ambleside.
All proceeds from the Brathay Open Day go to support our work with disadvantaged young people.
