Pete Bland Sports
Pete Bland Sports was opened in 1981 and is now one of the leading running specialists in the UK.
Pete Bland was involved in organising the original Windermere Marathon in the 1980's and helped Brathay revive the event in 2007. As Retail Partner, Pete Bland Sports will be at Brathay Hall during the marathon weekend selling a comprehensive range of fell, trail and running shoes for both men and women together with those last minute purchases of essential items.
Cumbria Life Magazine
We are grateful for the media and printing support provided by Cumbria Life Magazine, "the Lake District's biggest lifestyle magazine". They have been a dedicated supporter of the Brathay Windermere Marathon and Brathay 10 in 10 since the events started in 2007.
Lakeland Radio
We are thrilled that this year Lakeland Radio will be broadcasting live from the Brathay Windermere Marathon on Sunday 16th May.
Lakeland Pubs support the 10 in 10 runners
This year two local hotels are supporting the 10 in 10 by each sponsoring an evening out for the runners and support team.
- On Monday 10th May the Three Shires Inn, Little Langdale, will host an evening in the bar (at 7:00pm) - after 4 marathons.
- On Thursday 13th May the Old Dungeon Ghyll Hotel will host an evening (at 7:00pm) - after 7 marathons.
Everyone from Brathay, along with friends and family, are invited to come along and help the runners relax ahead of their marathons still left to complete.
