About Brathay Trust
Children and young people in the UK are facing many challenges today. Brathay works with many of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged to help them develop the skills, confidence and motivation to make positive choices in their lives.
Brathay's objective is to be the national charity that empowers Young People to make a positive contribution to society.
How we support young people
By working with young people who face challenging issues such as social exclusion, rural isolation, bullying or sexual exploitation, we can help them to;
- Re-engage with education and raise their aspirations
- Have a voice within their communities
- Develop as peer mentors and young leaders
- Avoid or move away from criminal activity, including violence and gangs
How you can support Brathay
Every pound raised from the Brathay Windermere Marathon and the 10 in 10 makes a real difference to what we can achieve. You can help. Either enter the marathon here. Or, if marathons are not for you, read about the amazing Brathay 10 in 10 challenge and sponsor a runner who particularly inspires you.
Thank you for your support!
